Seth GS Medical College Mumbai

​Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College (GSMC), established in 1926 in Mumbai, is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS). It is associated with the King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital, which currently operates with 2,250 scheduled beds and plans to expand to 2,500 beds by adding 300 more. The hospital handles a significant patient load, with 67,399 admissions and over 1.5 million outpatient visits recorded in 2022, providing students with extensive clinical exposure.

GSMC offers a comprehensive range of student facilities to support both academic and extracurricular activities. The campus includes separate hostels for male and female students, each equipped with essential amenities such as study tables, beds, wardrobes, and fans. The college boasts a well-stocked, centrally air-conditioned library spanning three floors, housing postgraduate and undergraduate sections, as well as a collection of old books and bound volumes.
